A few things I have noticed
March 11, 2009
On the way to work there is a sign for Westhost. It says “…is one click away.” At 55mph the lowercase “C” and the lowercase “L” kind of look like a “D.” It really changes the meaning of the billboard.
I have also noticed that I have no idea how to do several things.
1) Use RSS feeds. I hear they are a life saver, but I have no idea how to do it.
2) Use this blog. There are features that I want to use, that I just don’t know how to work.
3) Resize photos. I know this sounds stupid, but I don’t know what I am doing.
4) And I want to rename all my music so it is all consistant, BUT HOW!
On and if anyone knows an employee for BYU that would bid on an item for me I would really appreciate it. AND one last thing. What phone should I get.
1) LG VU
2) Samsung Eternity
3) iPhone 3g
SUCK IT!
1) I’m not a pro at RSS, but head on over to Google Reader. It helps if you read lots of blogs, but beyond that I’m also in the clueless space.
2) I don’t use wordpress, no bueno.
3) The easiest way to resize photo’s is to use Microsoft Photo manager (assuming you aren’t going to pay for PhotoShop). Look for an option called ‘Compress’
4) I think iTunes will rename your music for you if you allow it to ‘Keep your Folder Organized’; but that’s assuming you are an iPod person and are willing to live with the format mp4 they use.
I know a professor at BYU, are you looking for someone that is tainted by money, or just a person with a job at BYU?
As for your phone:
1) Sounds like a Saturn car model
2) Should be the Calvin Klein Samsung Eternity and dispense cologne.
3) Absolutely. I don’t have the 3G, but the old version is my favorite phone I’ve ever had. I can’t imagine the new version being worse.

Klark
Holy shit! You posted a blog!? Anyways, I vote that you stop worrying about how to work the features on your blog until you actually start posting on your blog. Also, I can teach you how to resize photos; I do it everyday at work. Finally, I vote you don’t get a new phone because you don’t even know how to use the one you have (I’ve called 3 times with no response). Plus, everyone knows it’s just going to end up in the dogs’ belly, crushed under your car, or in the river.
That is all.
one blog per month, that sounds about right…don’t overdo!
I use Google Reader (when traveling or without my laptop) and Mozilla Thunderbird at home for my RSS subscription reading, if that’s useful.
For music renaming, I highly recommend The Godfather (it’s free, just google it). It allows you to rename files and fix ID3 tags for ipod use, etc. It even allows for “batch” renaming (like changing the album title of 400 songs at once, etc.
Also, I’m too lazy to go comment on your other posts, so I’m going to say thanks for the Woot.com tip in this one. I’m addicted. And one dick away from what, though?
